It irritates me when someone doesn't dress proper for an event, especially if the event is a tad UPSCALE or greater. I've seen this mistake several times in my hometown of Detroit. Guys showed up at casual events wearing suits and VICE VERSA, and women show up at an evening dinner dressed like they're going clubbing.
